Another Lee Day

I decided that I needed Lee Day, so yesterday I went to Lubbock. I planned to leave about 10am but first our builder showed up and then our housekeeper. Kip was measuring our house so that he can put up siding and new windows in the rest of the house. I knew that Rosa was coming but I was trying to leave before she got there. I know if I'm home I will chitchat. I finally got to Lubbock (50 minutes away) at around 12:15pm. I knew the only thing I wanted to do for myself was get a pedicure and manicure. I don't usually get a manicure but I have really dry skin and they needed some help. I started at Sam's, moved on to Lowe's, stopped at the mall where I ate lunch and got the kids some clothes. I wasn't sure that I had enough time to get my nails done but I thought this was the whole point of the trip so I went. It was great and I'm glad I did it. I then had to stop at Target before I headed home. While I was driving home the tightness behind my eyes grew and by the time I got home I had a baby migraine. I didn't take anything and went on to church. I had one of the worst my migraines in my life last night. I took two different kinds of migraine medication and it would not stop. I was in bed at 9:15, just laying there with my head pounding. I finally fell asleep and when I woke up this morning, thankfully, I was fine. Maybe next time I'll just veg out on the couch instead of going to Lubbock.
