The painters finished up this morning and I'm so happy to be done. I think that the color I picked for the house is to light and now the trim color doesn't show up very well. It's more noticable around the windows than on the eaves. I have found a rememdy for this.....black shutters to go around the windows. I've always wanted shutters but they put the outside light on the front porch too close to our bedroom window to put up a shutter. We couldn't not put a shutter on one window. We thought it would be too much trouble to rewire the light to another location but Jon had a great idea to put the new light fixture where the old one on the garage is. We have recessed lighting on the porch so we don't really need another light there and there is not light in the driveway. I think that the house will look even better with shutters. I just have to find the time, the energy and the money to put up shutters.
