Reese got 1st place in both of his running events yesterday. He was so excited but he played it off very well. He ran the 2400 and the 1600m runs. I got Sage and Reagan out of school a little early and we got there just as his first race started, it was the first race. We stayed and watched some of the field events but didn't stay for his second race being as it was 2nd to last. The meet had high school and junior high kids so it would have been late when he ran. I missed the victory dance at the end but I'll try again next time. Usually he comes home and goes straight to bed but he came home last night and talked and laughed. It was great. Jon on the other hand had a horrible day. He was going to a farm sale and about halfway there his drive shaft and crank case fell out from under his pick up. He was stuck on the side of the road for a couple of hours until someone could get here, get a pick up and drive there. Then they had to hoist the white pick up onto the trailer and the parts that fell off and drive it home. He didn't make it to the track meet needless to say.
