The kids begged to go to Lubbock early enough to run around before we went to Grey's 1st birthday party at 2. Sooooo, we went early. We were planning to bring home a basketball goal but we couldn't find one that went in the ground. Apparently, everyone else had the same idea. We did however bring home another hermit crab, which we named Mac. I'm fascinated with these little crabs. The one we already had never even shows a claw but this one will come out and crawl around on your hand. It feels really weird. We had a great time at the party watching Grey try to figure out what to do with the cake. Once he figured it out he dug right in. He had to have a bath when that was over. We dropped the kids off with Nana so we could out to eat with another couple on a kind of double date. Does it count as a date if you're home by 8:15pm? When we got to the house Reagan walked out with something behind her back. They bought the baby it's first stuffed animal. It's a little cow from Old Navy. Isn't it cute?
