Home....Kind of
We got to come home from the hospital Thursday night but Ridge is still in the NICU so we're there all the time. I wish they could just rent us a room so we could nap. I did find out that there's a family room downstairs that you can check into and take one. There was no one there this afternoon and the rooms stay locked unless a volunteer is there. If I could find someone I may have hit paydirt. I could just go downstairs and not have to leave the building. It's been hard going back and forth and we haven't gotten to see the girls much. They have decided that no one under the age of 15 can go in. Poor Reagan has decided that it's better to stay home than sit in the waiting by herself with us just coming in and out to check on her. She did stay at Jenny's the other day and played with her cousins the second time we went to the hospital. Ridge is doing well and doesn't have an I.V. anymore. He was actually too warm under the warmer this morning and they turned it off. I hope that means he will start to maintain his own body temperature. They only problem now is that he doesn't breath right when he's sucking down a bottle. He keeps making the monitors go off. He just started that today and if he doesn't stop they'll send him home on a monitor. Jon brought me home early today because I was so tired I could barely stand up. I've now rested, gotten to see the girls and sent Jon back with milk. He worries about him at night and was going back to Lubbock for the 9pm feeding. We'll also be back first thing in the morning. I AM SO READY TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE MYSELF.

Just keep doing what you gotta do, and he'll be home where he belongs in no time. Until then, take care of yourself and him - this will all be a distant memory SOON! Promise!
