Petersburg Day

Petersburg Day was yesterday and we all survived. Reese and I drove in my 1929 pickup and threw candy to the kids and assorted adults. Jon pulled the senior float for Sage's class. Aaron rode with him. Their float won 2nd place and received $100 to go towards their class trip. I somehow managed to not get any pictures of the '29 but I did get pictures of other people's cars. After the parade Sage and I worked at the Senior booth selling brisket sandwhiches and t-shirts. When we escaped from out job we ate, looked at other booths and ate homemade ice cream. Nana and I made a freezer of chocolate ice cream for the FFA. I had never done it before and so Cathy had to do most of it. I know what to do next time and am planning to buy an ice cream maker of my own for upteen years I have left of assorts town and school activities. To top the day off we took Ashley, Jobe, Anna and Grey swimming. It was a nice relaxing swim after the stress. We all came home and took a nap after that.
