Live and Learn

It's been a busy week. I went to the dentist, Reagan went to the dentist, the dog went to the vet, ect.... It's been crazy. We got Bridgette and Reagan on a plane for Missouri this morning before the buttcrack off dawn....I say "we". Jon got them up, I got up and made sure everything was going o.k., folded clothes while they got ready (I don't know why I do this), and then Jon took them to the airport. I went back to sleep as best as I could. It was a little hard because there was a strange cat yowling outside my window. I did however manage. I took Reagan's new puppy to the vet for her second puppy shots this afternoon. It was fairly uneventful, except for the puppy peeing in my seat on the way. I knew that she had climbed up on my shoulder and wound herself around my neck and I knew that she was whining but I didn't know that she had to go to the bathroom. I just thought it was the car. Next time I'll check just to make sure. I only had a couple of napkins but I pulled over and mopped up what I could. Needless to say, when I got home I got to clean the seat and where it had dripped in to the floor in the back. It was lovely. She did do well at the vet and slept with her head in the crook of my arm all the way home. I think next time I'll bring someone to hold her or put her in a crate. You live and learn.
