Friday Night Lights

Friday, August 27th was the first football game of the season. If I liked football that would mean more but I really could care less except that it's good for the town and gets people excited. I go to the games because Jon LOVES football, I like to see the people and Reagan likes to run with her compadres, as she calls them. Ridge got to go to his first game last night and he seemed pretty fascinated about what was going on. He watched the people in the stands and the people on the field but mostly he looked at the girls. He's such a little flirt. We took 2 vehicles so we could leave at halftime because I didn't think that Ridge would last the whole game. We went to the enchilada supper beforehand and then stayed for the game. Fortunately the game was over at half time. In 6-Man football if the one team is 45 points or more ahead at half time and both coaches agree the game is over. It can also end at any time a team gets that far ahead after half time. We won 53-8 against the 9th ranked team. We're 15th so I think that bodes well for the rest of the season....I hope anyway.
P.S. This is Ridges first time to wear tennis shoes but they only stayed on through part of the supper..
