Ridge loves to take a bath but he does not like the swimming pool. I'm guessing that he doesn't like the cold water. When he takes a bath he splashes, kicks and tries to grab the faucet. When he gets in the pool he proceeds to scream. I let him stay under the water from the waist down for awhile and he did stop screaming but when I tried to go deeper he started back up again. I even tried to put him in his floaty with the canopy but he got a face full of cold water and that was the end of that. Reagan even tried to get in with him and he didn't like it. That's saying something because she's his favorite person. My Mom came the first time and we took turns holding him while we swam but the second time I looked like I was moving. We took the pak n play, the floaty and his diaper bag plus the stuff for the rest of us. I ended up sitting in the swing in the shade with him and he took a nap. I am going to keep on trying. Maybe I should try a heated pool.
