How is it already Friday? This week flew by. Today Reese had his Junior High Sports Banquet. I told him that couldn't wear shorts and a t-shirt and when we showed up almost everybody including the coaches had on shorts and t-shirts. I felt stupid. They had awards for the boys and the girls, for all the sports they had participated in. It was funny because there are only around 5 boys in eight grade but there are 14 in the seventh. They have the biggest class they have ever had. I'm from a town that's not much bigger than Petersburg but I didn't realize how much smaller it was. After we had hamburgers and hot dogs they were all called up there one at a time and then applauded as a group. After they were done (20 minutes tops), the kids went outside with the coaches and had a water gun/water balloon fight. They were very wet and happy when they were done.
